Our hay isn't all sourced from one shed. Each line is carted from where it's grown and stored (you'll see it on the product as "Ex Swan Hill", "Ex Bridgewater" and so on). We measure the routable road distance from that pickup point to your gate, not as the crow flies, because the truck has to drive the road, and we charge freight per kilometre by the truck that runs the load.
What you can expect
- Hay is sold by the tonne; most big square bales run around 600 to 670 kg.
- We ring before we head out, to sort gate codes, dogs and where you'd like it stacked.
- Card on delivery, EFT on confirmation, or set up an account for regular orders.
- Buying a truckload? Ash can sort feed tests and photos before it leaves.
