The fair go. how we work.
A few plain points so we’re on the same page when you order hay from us. Nothing tricky — just how a quote turns into a delivered load.
Quotes are estimates
The price the website works out is an estimate to give you a fair idea of cost. We confirm the final price, including freight, with you before your order is locked in. Prices can change with the season and the market, so a quote isn’t a fixed price until we’ve confirmed it together.
Freight is quoted by the load
Freight is worked out from where each line of hay is loaded to your gate, by the truck that runs the load. The calculator gives a guide; we confirm the actual freight when we confirm your order.
Availability
Hay is a seasonal, natural product and stock moves. Everything is subject to availability at the time you order. If something you’ve asked for has sold or isn’t available, we’ll let you know and help you find the right alternative.
The product
Hay is an agricultural product and varies naturally batch to batch. We’re happy to send photos and feed tests before you commit — just ask. We’ll always do our best to match the right load to your stock.
Payment
Once you’re happy to go ahead, we take your details and send an invoice through our accounting software to arrange payment. Delivery is arranged for a day that suits, and we’ll keep you posted when your load is on the truck.
Looking after you
If something isn’t right with your order, get in touch and we’ll make it right. Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
