Farm Direct Stock Feeds Pty Ltd (ABN 27 314 608 671), of Goornong, Victoria, is responsible for the personal information described here. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles and only collect what we need to quote and deliver your hay.

What we collect

• Your name and contact details — phone number and email address — so we can talk to you about your order.
• Your delivery address, so we can work out the freight and get the load to your gate.
• The details of your enquiry or quote — the hay and quantities you’re after, and anything you tell us about your stock or paddock.
• Basic website information when you browse — things like the pages you visit and rough location — collected through analytics (see Cookies and analytics below).

Why we collect it

Plain and simple: to prepare your quote, confirm price and freight, arrange delivery, send your invoice, and keep in touch about your order. We may also keep records for our own accounting and to answer any questions down the track. We don’t use your details for anything you wouldn’t expect.

We never sell your details

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information — full stop. We only share it with the people needed to get your order done, such as our delivery drivers and the accounting and email tools we use to invoice you and reply to you. We ask those providers to keep your information secure and to use it only for that job.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. We limit who can see it to the people who need it to serve you, and we hold on to it only for as long as we need it for your order and our records.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses analytics (Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are popular — so we can keep improving it. This uses cookies and collects information in an aggregated form; we don’t use it to personally identify you. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings if you’d prefer, and the site will still work.
